Learn the basics of fabric design with Spoonflower (an online digital printing service for individualsl to create on-demand, custom-designed textiles) while learning how to build your own digital fabric designs. Starting with cut paper, illustrations, and painted textures, you’ll make three designs – an abstract geometric, a novelty print, and a seamless organic texture that can be layered with both. Then, you’ll use Photoshop to transform these designs into a digital file that can be uploaded and printed to make your own custom fabrics or papers. Drawing, painting, fabric design, or Photoshop skills aren’t necessary. Just dive in and begin creating your own custom textiles!
