Ever wonder how cloth is made? Curious about the different types of tools and looms used to weave? This exhibit showcases the creations of members of the Weavers Guild of Minnesota with a specific focus on the equipment used to create it! See woven and spun art made with a variety of tools, wheels, and looms, including everything from a backstrap loom to rigid heddle, pin looms to tapestry, and yarn spun on a wheel. Each piece is accompanied with a bit of information about the equipment used, to aid in the viewer’s experience and understanding. Members of the Weavers Guild of Minnesota will be on-site April 7 and April 28 from 1-5pm to answer questions and offer demonstrations.
