An online class to make some of my favorite ornaments. These felt mitten ornaments are some that I have made with my favorite kids over the years. We’ll use a cookie cutter to help shape wool fibers into soft fuzzy mitten ornaments using just your hands, soap and water! You can make enough for a whole garland of cozy mittens. Registration deadline is November 23 so that your materials kit can be mailed to you.

Included in the class fee is a materials kit of everything you’ll need for class except some hot water and a little dish soap. I have put together some of my favorite materials for you:

• corriedale wool roving in a whole bunch of fun colors

• mitten shaped cookie cutter and felting dish

• and a couple of tools and handout to help you make beautiful mittens.

Once you’ve registered I will mail you the materials kit and email the Zoom link so you can join the live part of the class, where I will show you all of the steps to make your ornament. Class will be held Thursday December 3 • 6-7:30 pm Central

If you want to make extra mittens or you want to take the class with another person at your same address, then choose the options for 2 or 3 students and I will put in extra materials for extra participants. This project would be great for ages 8 and up. I recommend that kids attend with an adult to help, but you don’t have to add on extra student/materials for that helper unless that person wants to make ornaments too.
