In this class you will make an embroidered felt nutcracker in your choice of styles: Dog, Cat or Classic. Each finished nutcracker is 10.5 x 4.5 inches and has options for making a hanging ornament, tree topper or a free standing decor piece for your table or mantle shelf. Nutcrackers are hand stitched, using 6 different embroidery stitches, sequins and beads. ALL materials are included in the class fee except scissors, tacky glue and sewing thread (any color). You will choose your STYLE (dog, cat, classic) and COLORWAY (red & aqua, green & red, pink & orange) at registration. Additional materials kits are also available.
Your class registration includes:
- 9 live Zoom sessions (September 25 – November 20) on Thursdays held from 12-1 Central
- Access to pre-recorded video lessons if you need to miss a class or want to review a stitch or step
- Materials kit mailed to you in your choice of style and colorway
This class is open to all skill levels. I will teach embroidery stitches step-by-step so you don’t need to know anything ahead of time. You will need to complete some steps between classes or outside of class time.
Registration deadline is September 11 so that I am able to mail out your materials kits in time for class. A Zoom link and details will be sent to you about a week before class is scheduled to begin.
