DCL Online: Beginning Cross Stitch

Zoom/Online Event

Learn three basic embroidery stitches: cross stitch, back stitch and french knot. Get tips for handling thread, blending colors and finishing your piece into an ornament, coaster, card or tiny wall art. A kit with materials needed for the workshop will be mailed to you prior to the event. This program is limited to attendees with MN addresses. Presented by Teaching Artist Becka Rahn. Registration required. Geared for adults. A Minnesota Legacy program.

Becka will guide you through the process of designing your own fabrics with ease and inspiration, share the technical details of uploading and proofing your files, show samples of different fabrics, and walk you through the process from start to finish.
