ART-A-WHIRL® WEEKEND I'll be in the Northrup King Building Studio 401B May 17 – 19, 2024 Friday: 5pm – 10pm Saturday: Noon – 8pm Sunday: Noon – 5pm Art-A-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the country, which happens annually throughout Northeast Minneapolis the third weekend of May. This will be the 29th year! Over 1,200 NEMAA member artists, galleries, and businesses participate across all of Northeast Minneapolis at over 100 locations. Art-A-Whirl is a fantastic way to connect with artists in their own spaces, enjoy demonstrations and interactive activities, listen to live music, and enjoy local restaurants and breweries. Art-A-Whirl is free and open to the public.

Join us for a vibrant celebration of creativity at our community arts and crafts markets, hosted by The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in the heart of Maple’s Grove bustling outdoor shopping mall! These events will be held indoors within a vacant retail space. This event brings together local artisans and makers to showcase their unique, handcrafted goods in an inviting and friendly environment. With a focus on accessibility and interaction, artists will display their treasures on tables and floor-standing displays, creating an engaging and dynamic shopping experience. Wander through a diverse array of stalls, discover one-of-a-kind creations, and support your community’s talented creators.

December 7th 11:00 to 7:00 Flux Arts Building 2505 Howard St. NE Minneapolis MN You’re invited to Flux Frost Fest. Join us December 7, 11am-7pm for a holiday art show & sale bursting with handmade gifts by over 15 Artists, Craftspeople and Artisan Food Vendors. Throughout the building you’ll find a festive array of clay ornaments, jewelry, art kits, tiles, glass ornaments, chocolate and coffee. Potek Glass and Clay Squared will be holding sales during the event. Other activities include Create & Chill art projects by “Art to Change the World” and make and take clay projects at Clay Squared Gallery. The first 25 attendees will get a free piece of art by the Art to Change the World interns. Enjoy holiday snacks and apple cider while you browse and mingle.
