Learn three basic embroidery stitches: cross stitch, back stitch and french knot. Get tips for handling thread, blending colors and finishing your piece into an ornament, coaster, card or tiny wall art. Join me for a sew-a-long to make your own "Not Even a Mouse" ornament. These ornaments are designed by Larissa Holland of MmmCrafts. You are REQUIRED to purchase your own copy of the Not Even A Mouse pattern. The pattern is NOT included in the sew-a-long or materials kit. This sew-a-long is held with permission of MmmCrafts. The sew-a-long will be held over Zoom for 9 sessions, 1 hour per week. There will be homework to complete between sessions; you will not be able to finish all of the stitching/glue steps during class time. Becka will demonstrate each step of the pattern, answer questions and provide tips and tricks. Sessions are Thursdays at Noon (CDT) October 10, 17, 24, 31, Nov 7, 14, 21, Dec 5, 12. There will be no recordings of the sessions, but if you need to miss a session, you will have the written instructions from the pattern and you can use those to catch up.
