I got the faux batik samples in the mail yesterday and I am so thrilled. They look awesome. These are all printed on the basic cotton which is a nice middle weight basic fabric. I didn’t wash or press the fabric yet, this is just what it looks like out of the envelope.
Here is the original colorway.
And a couple of alternate colorways… (The color in these following two isn’t quite right in the photos because the light wasn’t cooperative, but they look good in person.)
I also made a set of coordinating prints for each of the colorways.
What do you think? Which colorway is your favorite? Although I love the warm colors I started with, I am also really loving the neutrals and I think that’s the one I might print to make a t-shirt.

Second up from the bottom is IT! Where did you get those neutral genes, it is not in your Booth DNA? =)
I know. I usually avoid neutrals like crazy, but I wanted to do three really different colorways and that was a great contrast. And it’s my favorite of the three. Go figure.
I actually like the neutrals the best too ( sorry mom) I think it’s because my eye goes to the pattern before the color…. or something like that :)
Well shoot. Now I am gonna have to make a t-shirt or skirt or something. I look down at my shirt and back at the screen and realize they are the same color. I am seeing a twirly skirt for spring
