Brush Off

Because I am always thinking about the next thing I am teaching, this design started as a sample for a workshop, designed to illustrate how you can make amazing fabrics from everyday materials like this, a piece of painted cardboard from a recycled box. I scanned and digitally repeated the paint texture and then printed it on velvet fabric.
