Dolores started as a bit of whimsy. My sister sent me a photo of a toad that was hanging out on her patio and I thought it would be fun to make a stained glass style paper mosaic of it. Then the next obvious step was to print it on velvet, because what could be more whimsical than a velvet toad clutch bag.

Exhibited at Kingdom Animalia at North Suburban Center for the Arts, Feb-March 2023. Sold.
