  • Etsy Shop Behind the Scenes

    Get tips and learn techniques to run an Etsy shop from a long-time Etsy seller. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the technical side of running a shop, setting up items via the Shop Manager, and choosing shipping profiles.   • Fabric Design: Custom Pet Fabrics (Postponed)

    This class has been postponed due to family emergency. A new date for this class will be posted soon. Learn how to design mixed media portraits of your pet and digitally print your own fabrics in this intro class. Bring a laptop or tablet computer with an up-to-date web browser and can connect to wifi. To borrow select Chromebooks, email teacher@beckarahn.com to reserve.

  • DCL: Recycled Paper Owl Ornament

    Zoom/Online Event

    Create a paper collage illustration of a quizzical owl from recycled security envelopes and handmade and decorative papers. Mount your illustration on a piece of paper-covered book board to make a tiny piece of art you can hang. This class is hosted by Dakota County Libraries and is only open to residents of Minnesota. Registration opens about 6 weeks before the class date.

  • DCL: Embroidered Owl

    Make an embroidered owl from wool felt and sparkling sequins. Learn the chain stitch to add contrasting feathers. Choose to finish your owl into a pin or decorative ornament. This class is hosted by Dakota County Libraries and is only open to residents of Minnesota. Registration opens about 6 weeks before the class date.

Learn how to make the photos of your products look brighter, the colors more true to life, and how to bring the focus where it needs to be – on your amazing work.

  • Clamshell Trinket Box

    White Bear Center for the Arts 4971 Long Ave, White Bear Lake, MN, United States

    Get an intro to the art of cartonnage or box-making. You’ll make a small clamshell-style box, made entirely from paper. Choose from handmade and patterned patterns to make your cover and inner liner. Your finished trinket box will be about three and a half inches square with an attached hinged lid. 2 Sessions: Feb 5 & 12
